Job summary Work as a Human Resource Business Advisor within the Consumer & Community Banking division at JPMorgan Chase
Support senior leaders in executing strategic priorities and resolving HR-related matters
Provide advice on human capital matters and facilitate talent management and employee input initiatives
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities • Support implementation of people agenda initiatives for a business area
• Advise on human capital matters and cascade organizational changes throughout the Line of Business areas
• Support year-end compensation process and provide guidance on incentive compensation and salary planning
• Assist with performance and talent management cycle, including succession planning and promotion process
• Facilitate feedback processes and employee input initiatives
• Provide individualized development and coaching to managers and emerging leaders
• Partner with development team and HR Business Advisor for leadership coaching
• Support the performance and talent management cycle by partnering with leaders on succession planning needs and requirements, answering performance questions, issues, and processes, supporting and providing guidance on the promotion process particularly during quarterly and end-of-year timing
• Facilitate feedback processes and other employee input initiatives
• Support or participate in individualized development and coaching to managers and emerging leaders, as needed, and in partnership with the development team
Requirements • 5+ years of overall Human Resource experience
• Knowledge of full range of people practices in a business setting
• Project management abilities including execution skills and process improvement
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and technical skills
• Ability to navigate a global matrix organization and partner on issues across HR and the business
• Previous Human Resource Business Advisor experience advising senior leadership
