Direct hire
Salary: $90,000
Onsite role: will travel to Bloomington location 1 day/week

Recruiting and staffing; creating and posting job openings, review responses, and screen candidates
Create employee engagement initiatives, send out surveys and collect results.
Track and follow up on licenses and certificate renewals
Consult with the CEO/Owner on HR policy, complex employee relations and performance management matters. Manage the employee termination/exit process.
Recommend Handbook changes/additions, implement those approved. Make sure the handbook is current and finalized.
Helps with open enrollment and existing benefits including plan design and costs and make recommendations for annual benefit offerings. Assist as needed in managing and administering the benefits program
Listen to and resolve employee grievances.
Oversee the HR coordinators and be able to back up all duties.
Create and maintain employee personnel files.
Conduct orientation, onboarding and offboarding.
Ensure employee payroll and benefits information is current, accurate and audited monthly.
Coordinate with Managers and monitor employee performance evaluation process.
Prepare needed documentation for managers to conduct reviews, process wage increases, disciplinary actions etc.
Assist with processing regular payrolls.
Monitor and update the payroll summary spreadsheet daily.
Coordinate annual and new employee benefits enrollment meetings.
Assist as liaison with Worker’s Compensation Insurance carrier
Assist in creation of job requirements for new positions and ensure existing s are current.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Must have SHRM certification
4-5 years of HR experience in a management/supervisory role
