What You'll do: What You’ll Be Helping Achieve: You will support the production environment of a Human Capital Management System for the Peace Corps. Your role is to advise the technical team on how to incorporate federal human resources practices, to facilitate ongoing change management, and grow to become a Workday expert supporting ongoing day-to-day operations. What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in federal human resources policies and processes
  • Provide skilled resources in federal human resources to facilitate discovery and requirements gathering
  • Translate functional HR requirements into system requirements and needs
  • Advise the delivery team on federal human resources practices
  • Work with the Peace Corps to understand their systems and facilitate change management in the new system
How You’ll Excel In Your Role:
  • Strong communicator with a passion for the Peace Corps mission
  • Ability to provide expert advice on wide range of matters related to federal government human capital management policies, principles, practices, processes and regulations
  • Solid verbal and written communications; strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to translate industry regulations into systems and/or data requirements
  • Ability to rapidly learn the technology platform Workday
Required Experience:
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Ability to obtain Workday Certifications in HCM, Time Tracking, and Absence
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or Information Systems
  • At least 4 years of experience managing change and information systems for federal clients
  • Experience using and/or implementing cloud based HCM technology solutions
  • Ability to strategize and conduct training
  • Organizational Change management experience
Preferred Experience:
  • Returned Peace Corps Volunteer
  • 10 years of experience
  • Reporting/data analysis
  • Business Process Optimization, e.g., Lean Six Sigma
  • Business Optimization facilitation

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
