Janitoral / Production

Nesco Resource is seeking a Janitor / Production Associate for a long-term client in Hamtramck.
Shift: 6:45am - 2:45pm Monday - Friday with overtime on Saturdays

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities in all designated areas of the plant such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Notify management of any damages, deficits, and disturbances on company property
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Empty all garbage cans in the office and warehouse, empty large trash containers into dumpsters
• Clean restrooms including floors, toilets, sinks, partitions, and trash receptacles
• Ensure paper goods in restrooms are stocked
• May be responsible for operating large floor cleaning and buffing machines.
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience in a similar role is helpful but not required
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Must be able to perform responsibilities by following all Health, Safety, and Environment guidelines
• Willingness to learn and perform additional cleaning activities as requested
