LEAD SUPERINTENDENT - MULTIFAMILY CONSTRUCTION An award-winning national Developer/Builder is seeking a Lead Superintendent with experience running the day-to-day operations of ground-up multifamily construction projects. Projects include garden apartments, mid to high rise wrap and podium, and mixed-use developments. Superintendents must be willing to travel. Superintendents are provided with the necessary support and resources to succeed in their role and make sure all projects are completed to the highest standard. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Review the Building Specification to confirm material, subcontractor, and equipment criteria and identify potential project document conflict * Maintain project plans, communication, correspondence and subcontracts * Review, coordinate and implement the safety measures and applicable company programs for the project required to conform with OSHA standards and to ensure a safe workplace * Monitor project labor productivity and material quantity requirements * Keep the company informed of any deviations from the original budgets * Completely review, coordinate, and implement the quality assurance program developed for the project * Review project punch list and oversee completion of all project disciplines necessary to receive a certificate of occupancy QUALIFICATIONS: * 5+ years of experience in commercial/multifamily construction with a General Contractor or Developer/Builder * Must be willing to travel * Proven track record of successfully overseeing ground-up multifamily projects...garden or podium. * Team player with a focus on building quality projects within budget and on schedule * Knowledge of field supervision and quality control of all phases of construction along with the ability to manage/develop field engineers and assistant superintendents If you enjoy managing the day-to-day needs of building projects from the field and desire to work for a company that appreciates and rewards your talent, do not hesitate to apply now.
