This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

 

As a  Payroll Analyst for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, you will….

 

• Process and analyze time, earnings, and deductions/withholdings on a weekly basis to derive accurate net pay in compliance with union contracts and Labor Relations/unit policies
• Independently analyze and resolve complex payroll issues
• Communicate with employees of various levels regarding pay questions, processes, and training
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with peers, unit partners, and other functional areas

• Quickly learns multiple Payroll/IT software systems
• Approaches change with a positive mindset
• Identifies and implements process improvements
• Uses Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word

What Makes You Stand Out

 

• Knowledge of payroll, payroll tax and garnishments
• Experience maintaining confidential information
• Proficiency with SAP
• Familiarity with John Deere payroll systems WFE and EWLR (wage and time systems)
• Experience using IBM/Host applications, such as TSO, RMDS and TRMS

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business or accounting or Human Resources/Labor Relations discipline or equivalent experience
