Preschool Senior Program Director

The YMCA is looking for a talented and motivated Preschool Senior Program Director to join our team. As the Senior Program Director, you will be responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing licensed Preschool programs across three locations, including a Spanish language immersion program. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of high-quality Preschool programs
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations
• Manage, direct, and coordinate Preschool programs
• Train, develop, and motivate staff to achieve program goals
• Manage budgets and ensure program operates within budget
• Oversee grant management for all preschool program locations
• Manage registration and billing responsibilities for all preschool programs
• Maintain relationships with licensing agencies, parent groups, and other organizations
• Organize special events for parents and assist in fund-raising activities
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

• Related group care experience as a supervisor of child care programs.

• Minimum age of 21.

• Fulfillment of state-specific hiring standards.

• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

• Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to safely supervise children’s activities.
