Job Summary:
The Student Affair Program Coordinator is a uniquely positioned generalist that supports varied departments, initiatives, and projects across the Division of Student Affairs. The work of the Program Coordinator is informed by Gonzaga's Jesuit, Catholic mission and the Student Affairs priorities of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Well-being and Flourishing, and an Integrated Approach to Student Learning and Development. The Program Coordinator may: 1) serve different departments as needed during anticipated and/or unanticipated periods of high-volume workloads (e.g. New Student Orientation), 2) act as project coordinator for short-term initiatives (e.g. facilitating student focus groups on a topic of concern), and/or 3) provide staffing assistance during times of staff turnover (e.g. interim student staff supervisor). The Program Coordinator may propose and develop needs-based, student success-oriented projects or initiatives that support an increasingly more diverse generation of Gonzaga students. The Coordinator position is designed to provide the incumbent a broad experience in the work of Student Affairs across the university. The budgeted annual salary range that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is $42,785 – $43,680 annually. The internal full salary range is $40,192 – $54,377.
