The Etzioni lab at Fred Hutch develops statistical and computational tools to support evidence generation for decision making in cancer prevention, screening, and treatment. We are currently particularly focused on evidence generation around novel diagnostic technologies for cancer screening and treatment targeting. We analyze data from clinical trials, population studies, and observational cohorts to learn about the factors that drive patient outcomes and how to intervene to reduce the burden of cancer in sustainable and equitable ways. We are a team of 6 full-time researchers and have an extensive portfolio of ongoing projects and numerous national and international collaborations.
The Etzion lab is seeking applications from strong candidates for a new Research Coordinator position for the group. The position requires a highly motivated individual with a goal-oriented and self-motivated work attitude. An understanding of public health research including literature review and synthesis, along with excellent communication and management skills, will be critical for success in this position. In addition to research co-ordination and administration tasks, this position will offer involvement in an array of research studies evaluating novel biomarker and imaging tests for cancer, as well as studies involving AI and biostatistical models for precision oncology.
