Position Title: Project Manager/Estimator Job Type: Full-time Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Project Manager/Estimator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete construction, particularly in flatwork, foundations, pads, parking lots, and related areas. While primarily focused on project management and estimating, there may also be opportunities to contribute to on-site supervision as a Superintendent, particularly for candidates with a solid estimating background. Key Responsibilities: * Project Management: * Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to completion. * Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met. * Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and plans as needed. * Estimating: * Prepare accurate and timely estimates for concrete construction projects. * Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop competitive bids and proposals. * Supervision (as applicable): * Provide on-site leadership and supervision to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. * Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to optimize project workflow and resource allocation. Qualifications: * Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete construction, with a focus on flatwork, foundations, pads, and parking lots. * Proven track record in project management and/or estimating within the construction industry. * Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. * Experience with relevant software/tools (e.g., estimating software, project management software) is preferred. Education: * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required. * Relevant certifications or professional affiliations are a plus.
