Employee/Associate Relations COE Program Manager

Remote/Work from home - Continental US

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

The Program Manager Associate Relations serves as a subject matter expert leading recommended process improvements and enhancements to drive positive associate relations across Bon Secours Mercy Health. This role will be responsible for operationalization of changes and measuring impact of enhancements and leverages the Associate Relations Managers, HR Strategic Partners, Centers of Excellence (COE), leaders, and supporting data to understand where synergies may be drawn to improve quality of case documentation, leader and associate experience, as well as quantity of case closures within designated closure rates. This role is responsible for internal knowledge resources supporting the subject matter expertise of the function and enhancing the content and organization of the site to support the Associate Relations Managers case resolutions.

Essential Job Functions

  • Leads process improvements within the function. Responsible for assessing and collaborating with cross-functional partners to uncover operational opportunities, make recommendations, gain alignment and deliver the agree upon solutions. Responsible for communicating the changes and monitoring changes to ensure making the right impact.

  • Provides rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs, highlighting key trends in associate relations to actively drive proactive solutions to minimize reactive work. Responsible for all associate relations reporting for the COE, both scheduled and on demand. Manages all system updates and enhancements within the case management system to drive insight-based analytics output.

  • Organizes and drafts all responses to government inquiries and complaints related to associate complaints. Partners with the Associate Relations Manager, Legal, Risk and any other necessary cross functional partners to manage the response and bring it to closure.

  • Leads point of contact on all litigation filed on behalf of associates making an employment claim. Including but not limited to, organizing data in a cohesive fashion for legal counsel, requesting settlements, placing litigation holds on a complaint, supporting demand letter responses.

  • Analyzes, diagnoses, and audits people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations. Owns standard operating procedure (SOP) and policy recommended updates and enhancements. Communication of the changes to the team and drive change management within the team.

  • Builds tools and resources to support effective and efficient associate relations case management, as well as onboarding of new associate relations managers.

  • Supports the Associate Relations Managers in effective case management organizing meetings among key stakeholders in highly complex cases.

  • Conducts multi-system data pulls including personnel files, timecard, case management systems used by quality, risk, compliance and operations when needed by the function.

Licensing/Certification

Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) (preferred)

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communication, Customer Relations, or other related field (required)
Masters in Human Resources, Communication, or Customer Relations (preferred)

Work Experience

3 years of experience in Human Resources (required)

5-7 years of experience in Human Resources (preferred)
