The Central Plains Research Station was established by the USDA-ARS to research dryland agriculture in the Central Plains region. Collaboration between ARS and CSU has been ongoing for decades. Although dryland agriculture is the main objective of the research station, there is an irrigation component led by the CSU Regional Water Resource Specialist located here. Irrigated research at this station is relevant to both the Ogallala Aquifer basin as well as the South Platte Basin.

Position Summary
This position provides general labor and research farm support for the irrigation and dryland research program at the station. Responsibilities include: Research field production, data collection, plot maintenance, and soil preparation and analysis.
