Software Engineer - Chandler, AZ

Position Description As a mid-level .NET Software Engineer, you will be responsible for working within a shared service
engineering team to assist with all core PrismHR software applications that power our customer-facing
businesses. You will be working within your team and interfacing with all internal product teams to
gather requirements and translate those into technical specifications. As part of this high-performing
team, you will work with your team lead to follow best practices for code management. Please note: This position can be remote/telecommute. We are currently accepting applications from
those located in the Northeast, Midwest, and South. Responsibilities

• Understand the benefits of the various design methodologies and object-oriented environments.
• Seek and participate in development opportunities above and beyond the required training.
• Easily recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions through the use of strong problem solving skills
• Code superior technical solutions
• Create efficient and logical solution designs for clients.
• Write quality code that adhere to defined team coding standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in working on teams that have implemented Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and others.
• Strong experience with modern front-end development tools, such as HTML5, CSS3, JS, and others, is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with front-end JS component libraries, such as JQuery, Typescript, KnockoutJS, is required for this position.
• 3+ years of experience with the ASP.NET framework technology, including but not limited to, Webforms, MVC, .NET Core, and others.
• 3+ years of experience with C# and its use in OOP methodologies is required.  Some experience with VB.Net would be a bonus
• Additional experience with Bootstrap, Kendo, Telerik Reporting, and SQL Reporting Services are preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in full-stack development, including Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio, is required.
• Fluency in Visual Studio IDE is required.
• Strong knowledge of the implementation of REST and other API technologies is required.
• Some Experience in all things Microsoft Azure, including the API gateway, Azure SQL and Azure App Services.
