About the Department:The Academic Unit Office (AUO) for the College of Design houses the College’s four academic unit heads’ administrative offices. Faculty (active + prospective), students (enrolled + prospective), university offices & general public utilize this area to seek programmatic information and support. Academic unit heads are responsible to adhere to curriculum standards and develop new curriculum options, faculty development plans / reviews, program accreditation, coordination of extension/research activities, & student work plans /advising.
Essential Job Duties: This position will work closely with and support the academic unit head for the Graphic and Industrial Design Department. The position will also collaborate with and back-up the Program Associate for the School of Architecture, Media Art and Landscape Architecture Departments. Additionally, the position will collaborate with the College’s centralized student, budget & fund-raising administration departments and provide support in these areas as well.
Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
