Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Associate I for NJMS- Radiology. The Research Associate I helps develop the research interests in the department including artificial intelligence and population health. Among the key duties of this position are the following: * Helps develop research interests in the department including artificial intelligence and population health (i.e. follow up of imaging incidentalomas, opportunistic screening).
* Assists both faculty and trainees develop their research ideas and help increase the academic productivity of the department
* Assists in identifying software applications that can be implemented to further the artificial intelligence implementation within the department
* Participates in the development and refining research protocols using appropriate methodology in conjunction with faculty, residents and students.
* Participates in the development of research ideas and translate them into executable research protocols.
* Develops and coordinates research studies of mutual interest, with other departments of the medical school and University hospital.
* Identifies funding opportunities, helps faculty through grant applications and develops a robust grant portfolio for the department

* Sound knowledge of IRB process, research methodology, statistical analysis and data interpretation.
