Special Education Teacher

Minimum 1+ years special education experience required. Special Education Teacher - Mustang, OK ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Mustang, OK. This is a contracted position offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with special needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to individualized education plans (IEPs) and a collaborative approach to working with students, parents, and staff. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects to students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure students' needs are met.
Use a variety of teaching techniques and materials to assist students in developing social, academic, and life skills.
Monitor and document students progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Oklahoma Special Education Teaching License.
Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
