Job Title: Bakery Production Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a Bakery Production Coordinator to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our production facility. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong leadership skills to ensure the efficient and effective production of high-quality bakery products.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production counts to ensure correct amounts are produced for customers, aiming for a 100% fill rate.
• Manage packing/sanitation personnel and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
• Efficiently manage labor resources to meet production goals while maintaining labor costs within budgetary constraints.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of all departmental production and packaging processes.
• Familiarity with delivery routes and coordination to ensure timely deliveries.
• Basic baking knowledge to oversee and maintain product quality.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, refrigerators, tables, and equipment.
• Secure the bakery premises at the end of each shift.
• Ability to lift/pull/push 25-50 pounds and stand for 8 hours.
• Report any discrepancies in production or inventory on a daily basis.
• Maintain effective communication via email, text, and in-person interactions.
• Regular communication with the order desk regarding special orders or issues.
• Flexibility with shifts and hours as required by production demands.
• Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving abstract.
• Proficiency in computer skills for data entry and communication purposes.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures.
• Valid DOT card is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in food production or management is a plus.
• Comfortability driving onto military base.
