ACCEL Schools is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic
Talent Acquisition Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in the education industry. You will collaborate with school leaders and other stakeholders to find the best candidates to fill various roles in our schools. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and a deep understanding of the challenges facing the education industry in Ohio. You will be a skilled communicator and relationship builder who is able to build strong connections with candidates and school leaders. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with Regional Leadership, School Administrators, and other key stakeholders in Ohio
- Identify top talent in the education industry through various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, and referrals
- Screen candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and fit for various education roles such as teachers and instructional aides.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and extending job offers
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Maintain accurate records of candidate information and job postings
- Understands talent acquisition best practices and advises company leadership on available tools and approaches
- Ensures compliance with all necessary company policies and state/federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably with a focus on education recruitment OR experience working in a highly regulated industry with licensing requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred).
