Job Description - Talent Acquisition Specialist

**Please note: This is an in-person position at our Kentwood office** What you can expect:

How you create impact:
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience through timely communication and transparency.
  • Develop and implement innovative and diverse recruiting and sourcing strategies, including job boards, social and professional networks, online communities, and resume databases.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting process.
  • Drive the offer process by working closely with internal partners and collaborating with HR colleagues to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Conduct phone and in-person initial screenings.
  • Facilitate interviews with other members of HR, hiring managers, and senior leaders.
  • Coordinate applicant assessments and analyze results.
  • Maintain a bench of qualified and skilled candidates in advance of need.
  • Participate in, and/or lead HR-related projects.
  • Promote Ayers’ culture and values and help guide hiring decisions.
What makes you stand out:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business, or related area of study preferred.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably with hourly production, professional and sales recruiting background.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional talent acquisition role.
  • High level of self-awareness and humility.
  • Genuine integrity- doing things right the first time, even when it’s hard and no one’s looking.
  • Proven experience and specialized knowledge of recruiting practices, principles, applications, and methods.
  • Ability to influence decisions through relationships by utilizing strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organization and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Highly developed sense of emotional intelligence.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to recruiting.
