Job Description - Talent Management Coordinator

Position Overview

The Human Resources team, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Talent Management Coordinator! You will be instrumental in implementing various talent management initiatives in support of Novelis’ strategic HR and talent objectives. You will serve as the face of our most critical talent assessment and development programs while partnering closely with our regional talent, HR business partners, and external vendors across the globe.

In addition, this role presents the opportunity to be a liaison between the Novelis’ group parent company, Aditya Birla Group (ABG), and our business, bringing value from the availability of group-level, large-scale resources, and the opportunity for standard process sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Novelis talent assessment and development programs, including the employee 360 assessment, Development Assessment Center (DAC), and Potential Assessment
  • Provide support for the global talent review meetings, including talent analytics, succession planning, KPI metrics, and talent insights to inform company-wide investments and initiatives around talent assessment and development
  • Provide direct support to regional talent and HR business partners on talent management processes, data, and other local needs on an ad-hoc basis
  • Collaborate with our regional talent partners, People Analytics, and HRIS teams to collect, update, manage, and present our talent data
  • Support identified talent management needs or new initiatives from our parent company on an ad-hoc basis
  • Coordinate with our external vendors to ensure we meet desired program quality and outcomes
  • Support Functional and Technical Talent pipeline building, including competency frameworks and career path tools to enable talent development, and employee ownership of their career growth
  • Work with the Global Learning and Organizational Effectiveness (OE) teams within the Global Talent COE team for global capability development including by not limited to assessments, surveys, analytics, virtual learning events, mentoring program delivery, and creation of support tools (SharePoint, MS Teams)

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Strong data and analytical skills - advanced proficiency with Excel required
  • Program / project management skills with the ability to manage and deliver multiple objectives with varying deadlines
  • Ability to handle complexity and adapt to evolving organizational needs
  • Basic understanding of Talent Management processes and fundamental principles.
  • A solid sense of customer centricity and the ability to manage a wide variety of collaborator needs and expectations
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across all levels in the organization
  • Teamwork orientation and ability to seamlessly collaborate across HR, the business, and our parent company
  • Motivated to learn and broaden experiences through managing a variety of initiatives within the talent management functional areas

Preferred qualifications

  • degree in General Business, HR, Psychology, or related field preferred
  • 1 years’ experience in Talent Management preferred
