This is a Seasonal Part Time position to support our Cherry Operations at our Seattle Branch. 

Assignment tentatively scheduled from June 1st - August 2024 (depends on seassonal crop)

Working Hours Monday - Sunday: 7:30pm - 1:30am (work schedule fluctuates depending on business demands)

• Examining cargo for damage or inconsistencies
• Loading / unloading shipments for trucks
• Palletizing Cargo
• Examining cargo documents
• Preparing cargo documents & send by email as needed
• Coordinating between the Cherry operations head office team and Seattle office team
• Checking Cherry Boxes, labels and phytosanitary certificate
• Daily driving between warehouses of airlines/ trucking company and Seattle office
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company/Branch initiatives
• Must develop, demonstrate and maintain professional, courteous and respectful working relationships with all customers, co-workers, subcontractors and vendors at all times.
• Hourly Range $20-$25

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience.
• Computer proficiency (MS Work, Excel, Lotus Notes, AS/400)
• Some knowledge of general and Export Computer application technology desirable
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including working overtime, weekends and holidays as necessary
• Good teamwork skills and inclination
• Detail oriented with good analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work with strict deadlines with accuracy
• Must have a valid driver license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift boxes up to 22lbs
• Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
• Ability to work overtime, weekend and holidays depending on business needs & seasonal crop demands

Organization Relationships:

Will work with all levels in the organization. Working closely with the warehouse staff

Work Environment:

(With or without accommodations) This position is predominantly sedentary office work, which involves sitting, typing, filing, and conversing on the phone. Also, scanning documents and occasionally going to the warehouse to bring down documents or check cargo. Most communication is via email.
