Job Responsibilities:
Assemble top drive systems according to technical specifications and blueprints.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on top drive components.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble parts as needed.
Install and configure hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
Replace defective parts and components.
Conduct performance testing to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex problems.
Manage inventory of parts and tools required for assembly and maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including assembly logs and maintenance records.
Order replacement parts and manage logistics to ensure timely availability.
Experience / Education Requirements:
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 1 years general shop experience.
Ability to use precision tools and measuring instruments.
Ability to safely operate a forklift.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; walk; use hands to handle/feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long hours sitting and operating a motor vehicle.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also have to do some lifting up to 45 pounds.
