WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

Work with Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Senior Food Technicians on all plant equipment and processes. Oversee all plant operations supervisors – lead, coach and motivate the operations department to ensure high Quality products are produced safely and, in a cost, effective manner. The Production manager works closely with the packaging manager, production planner, warehouse manager and maintenance manager to assure the plant is meeting the logistics requirements. Knowledge of high-speed equipment with detail knowledge of USDA regulations, food safety and HACCP requirements, product specifications, and employee crewing, Adherence to all rules, regulations and polices as well as Quality Assurance which includes the HACCP requirements, SSOP’s and GMP’s.

Position - Daily monitor all production and production processes on all Responsibilities production lines.

• Promotes an atmosphere of cooperation and team work
• Alerts QA and Production Manager to potential quality concerns
• Ensures the operations staff is in attendance and ready to begin the day’s work
• Assures disciplinary measures when necessary
• Minimizes waste by monitoring and controlling processes and equipment
• Maximizes output by reducing downtime throughout the operations process

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM...

• College degree is a plus, 10 years production experience can substitute for college degree(s) if candidate possesses the required skills and knowledge to perform all tasks.
• Bi-lingual language skills a positive.
• Computer skills in Microsoft word, Excel and Power Point desired.
• Basic knowledge of statistics desired
• Must be willing to work evening hours 3:30pm until shift ends and some weekend work if necessary.
