The Wholesale team works with our customers one-on-one, developing professional relationships based on trust and care.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Event Planning Associate Manager plans and manages corporate events annual National Sales Convention, Brand Immersions, Sales Trainings, Customer Events, Trade Shows, Holiday Party and more. Works with the Events Director to assist in all aspects of the event including development, budget preparation, negotiation, expense control, marketing, promotion, execution, delivery and follow up.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists director with detailed event plans (i.e. agenda, timelines, venues, supplies, and budgets).
  • Sources event venues and creates availability report to present to event stakeholders.
  • Works on event contracts and aligns with legal on contract review and approval.
  • Tracks budget aligning with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Partners with event stakeholders on logistics (i.e. Create event marketing materials, attendee list, transportation, tracking attendance).
  • Proposes ideas and changes for new events to attract attendees and increase attendee value.
  • Puts together appropriate meeting materials – invitations, schedule of events, agendas, confirmation letters, etc.
  • Coordinates with Communications team on the communication plan for the event.
  • Manages, reviews and amends Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Works with DOCE on event décor and entertainment concepts and the contracting of appropriate vendors for implementation.
  • Participates in conference calls and drafts call note/status reports as required.
  • Assists at on-site events.
  • Coordinates shipping, delivery, and tracking of necessary items during lead-up to, on-site and after event.
  • Conducts on-site inspections and venue visits for meetings and travels as required, on a limited basis.
  • Conducts post-event surveys and evaluations for meetings as assigned.
  • Processes vendor payments through SAP and obtains accurate coding.

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 2 plus years of event marketing/planning experience
  • Track record of taking projects from inception to successful execution
  • Must have strong initiative, adaptability and focused attention to detail

​Pay Range: 70,079.60 - 102,830.00 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
