Job Description - Associate Project Manager

Location/Division Specific Information

Our Cincinnati site is a Center of Excellence for specialized oral solid dose drug manufacturing and drug development for the Drug Product Division within our Pharma Services Group (PSG). Your role as an Associate Project Manager will involve supporting the Project Manager in driving projects with meticulous attention to detail. You'll support coordinating daily client project tasks, lead cross-functional deliverables, and facilitate communication to ensure key project achievements are met. A Day in the Life:

  • Supports Project Managers with project and account activities including but not limited to batch readiness execution, batch release execution, leading proposal introduction into Changepoint (PM software), writing small proposals, and project kickoff support.

  • Serves as customer logistics coordinator for the site including customer hosting and batch observations, logistics support, ordering catering for customer visits, and coordinates customer office assignments.

  • Assists Project Managers in change of scope writing.

  • Lead small scale projects within the project management team.

  • Responsible for generating internal forms required for ongoing projects and newly awarded projects.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High school or equivalent required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 3 years of experience required, or equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • General knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and practical knowledge of GMPs. 

  • Advanced communication skills and ability to solve problems, make decisions independently, and coordinate projects. 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint .

  • Communicate well with employees in multiple areas and job levels.

  • Effective written and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
