AV Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serves as Audio Visual Engineer supporting DLA.
• Install, pull, terminate, and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces.
• Install projection screens, plasma TVs and different types of speakers.
• Installation of AV systems on client sites.
• Read blueprints and wire AV racks.
• Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment.
• Maintain thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware, and software.
• Work with multiple wire and connector types on all AV related cables.
• Experience with equipment, internet based video solutions, switchers, codecs, interfaces, and room design.
• Support the Enterprise JWICS support with installation and troubleshooting system hardware.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• T hree (3) years relevant experience
• Must possess an US Passport
• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC)
• Requires a minimum of one of the following: AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification, Completed Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification or. AVIXA CTS certification
