Job Description

Our client, a leading beverage import company located in Chicago, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Bilingual Logistics Coordinator. This role is crucial to the company's growth trajectory, and the successful candidate will play a key part in supporting the international order coordination process.

Bilingual Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Review and process inbound orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor inventory levels to facilitate efficient fulfillment of orders
• Coordinate and schedule pick-ups and deliveries with carriers to optimize logistics operations
• Review import customs compliance documents, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Proactively identify logistics issues and implement effective solutions to streamline processes
• Maintain and update shipment records, providing real-time visibility into the status of international orders
• Communicate with international stakeholders to coordinate shipments and address inquiries promptly
• Conduct regular performance assessments of logistics providers to ensure service levels are met
• Evaluate and negotiate freight rates, optimizing cost-effectiveness while maintaining service quality

Bilingual Logistics Coordinator Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields is preferred
• 2+ years of logistics experience, with a preference for candidates with experience in the food, beverage, or CPG industries
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team on multiple projects
