About the Company

We started out providing transportation brokerage (logistics) services in 1988 and expanded to include asset-based trucking services under our J&H Trucking arm in 1996. Since then, we’ve worked hard to earn a reputation as a reliable freight carrier delivering safe and secure shipping services from coast to coast. Today, we proudly support a carrier fleet of 100 power units and over 160 trailers, including dry vans, refrigerated vanns and Local trucks, and we work with a vetted network of verified owner operators to deliver the outstanding service our clients expect.

About the Job

We have reefer loads to the North West and East coast. Company reefer is, all paid by the mile. All miles dispatched loaded and empty. Base pay with mileage incentive. Make additional 3cpm for all miles when you exceed 11,000 miles any month. Ask for additiopnal information.

Job Summary

• Company Driver (W2, Solo)
• Refrigerated
• OTR
• $1,400 - $1,995 total weekly avg. pay
• $0.52 - $0.57 CPM
• 2,500 - 3,500 avg. miles per week
• $500 sign on bonus
• Line Haul
• No Driver Load/Unload
• No slip seating

Home Time

• 7 - 14 expected days out
• You can stay out longer if you want to
• Get 2 days of home time for every 7 days worked
• Home at least 2 weekends per month

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
• Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

Orientation Details

• Orientation is not paid for
• Does not cover accommodation
• Drivers get their own room
• No meals are included
• Orientation is performed partly or in full online
• Does not cover any travel expenses

Hiring Requirements

• Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (E) Manual, (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer, (K) Intrastate Only or (M) Medical Variance
• 2 years OTR experience
