For more information, please visit Position Overview This position is responsible for leading the overall business unit Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) program that supports the corporate strategy. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead locations in Significant Injury and Fatality (SIF), Life Critical Policies and catastrophic risk reduction by providing training and education, coaching and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to drive EHS organizational accountability.
  • Identifies gaps between corporate EHS policy and business practices through the on-going management of a business group EHS action plan.
  • Ensure all facilities are managed with EHS support by maintaining conscious awareness through regional EHS model.
  • Own regulatory compliance by ensuring all necessary auditing, monitoring, reporting and inspections occur to required standards.
What is expected of you and others at this level
  • Provides leadership and direction through Senior Managers and Managers
  • Is typically accountable for the performance and results of:
  • A large strategically important discipline in an extremely large market; or
  • Related disciplines or a medium-sized function in a large market or medium-sized market; or
  • A medium-sized discipline or department in a major region
  • Adapts and executes functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of functional or departmental strategies
  • Decisions are guided by functional strategies and priorities
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
  • 7-10 years' relevant experience required
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and/or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) certification preferred
  • 50% travel requirement
