Position Overview: The EHS Manager is a critical role within the organization, responsible for ensuring a safe, sustainable and compliant work environment. This individual will lead the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives for the company, ensuring alignment with all applicable regulations, laws, policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective EHS programs and processes in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Review EHS operations, identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections, and lead safety training programs.
- Maintain records and monitor performance of EHS programs and processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of data and metrics.
- Ensure safety-related supplies and materials are adequately stocked.
- Provide technical guidance, assistance, and oversight to personnel within the organization.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, and Distribution teams to ensure safety compliance and reduce risk.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in EHS within a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.
- Experience in Safety Management, Regulatory Compliance, Warehouse Management, and Distribution preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety laws and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
