How will you make an impact?

• The Materials and Structural Division in Hillsboro OR is seeking qualified applicants for an Engineering Technician II position.
• This position resides within the Operations team, which is a diverse team responsible for building the best Focused Ion Bean (FIB) columns, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) modules and Wafer Dual Beam (WDB) systems in the world.

Job Responsibilities:

This role links the Warehouse, Operations Engineering (OE), Logistics, and Manufacturing by actively managing the First Article (FA) process. You'll be responsible for the following:

• Material movement between groups and areas within the site
• Documenting material location so that all groups are aware of the current material location
• Conducting First Article inspections on some parts and working with the OE team on others
• Data collection on assembly yield based on final testing of the inspected parts
• Providing written and verbal updates to the rest of the organization using Teams, email, and team meetings

Position Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in an Operations environment
• Plusses: knowledge of instrument assembly/testing and ability to use a microscope.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly as demands arise
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
• Able to use Microsoft (MS) products like Teams, Excel, and Word.
