Event Production Coordinator - Temporary/Contract Position Are you passionate about bringing people together to drive positive change? We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Event Production Coordinator to join our team on a temporary/contract basis. Location: Downtown Houston Parking: Provided Hours: Full-time, with occasional additional hours required for event setup and breakdown As our Event Production Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and management of a variety of events and meetings. This position requires a dynamic individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in event coordination and a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a certification in event and meeting planning. Relevant experience in marketing or conference services is also highly valued. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate the logistics for in-person, digital, and hybrid events, including room layouts, production technology, catering, and speaker support for our signature events and BRG programming. - Provide operational support and navigate virtual meeting platforms with ease. - Assist with venue and site selection, ensuring each event meets the needs of its attendees. - Manage event timelines, budgets, marketing plans, and volunteer assignments. - Analyze event performance and financials, and prepare post-event debrief materials. - Establish and maintain relationships with members and non-members, providing exceptional customer service. - Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. - Ensure consistent brand messaging across all events. Qualifications: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in event coordination. - Bachelor's degree, with a preference for certifications in event and meeting planning. - Experience with event management systems and virtual meeting platforms is highly preferred. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse group of people. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems.
