Job Summary

This position is responsible for unloading, inspecting, and mechanical integrity testing and certification of non-raw material deliveries as required by the process safety management program. Responsible for gathering Stores items for reservation pick tickets, staging for delivery driver, and updating system inventory data. Responsible for package preparation of vendor returns and material samples.

Job Description

• Receiving includes unloading deliveries and confirming materials received match packing slip descriptions and quantities.
• For accurate inventory, daily system entry of receipts is required.
• Responsible for mechanical integrity testing, certifying, and recordkeeping of all process safety materials entering the plant.
• Responsible for mechanical integrity testing for all parts ordered by contractors for plant projects.
• Gather items for inventory reservations, stage for delivery, and update system information.
• Responsible for outbound shipping package preparation.
• Support sourcing efforts of Plant, Purchasing, Maintenance Planners, and Engineers by monitoring inventory including requisition to replenish free issue stock, min/max levels, potential stock-out issues, and special project materials.
• Perform counter attendant duties, deliveries, monthly inventory cycle counts, audits, and all housekeeping and safety initiatives.
• Other duties include purchase order service entry, inventory monitoring and cycle counts, counter attendant, deliveries, housekeeping, and safety initiatives.

Skills Required

• Previous Manufacturing/Plant experience.
• Understanding of warehouse/stores operations.
• Fork Truck and elevated work qualified or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
• Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and business functions.
• Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and define priorities.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong working knowledge of the SAP system a plus
• Demonstrated high self-motivation, initiative, and dependability.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass drug and criminal background check.
• Driving of company vehicle and fork trucks within the plant is required.
• Working Hours are a standard 8 hour day shift
• Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM with occasional overtime, but typically not required overtime.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour based on qualifications.
