This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.

The Upstream segment includes crude oil natural gas and natural gas liquids exploration field development and production. Job Summary

We are seeking an Analyst to join the Capital Programs Division (CPD) in Capital Programs & Contracting Compliance Department within Controllers. Controllers is a part of the Finance business line in This Company and reports to the Sr. Vice President of Finance Strategy & Development. The Capital Programs Division is responsible for providing controllership financial advisory and decision support for items related to This Companys Capital Program and individual Expenditure Requests. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the project life from Business Plan through Post Project Appraisal. CPDs core activities include reviewing projects proposed for the Capital Budget to ensure validity of business case and compliance with Company policies. The review of projects proposed for funding to ensure validity of business case and compliance with Company policies. Participating in This Companys gated project review process while performing analysis post project completion to ensure the project objectives were met and identify opportunities for improvement including lessons learned. And conducting special studies as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review analyze and provide comments on new projects proposed for inclusion in the Business Plan.
  • Review analyze and provide comments on capital projects proposed for funding actions.
  • Represent Controllers on various project gate reviews.
  • Represent Controllers review of capital projects before funding.
  • Review complex questions related to capital projects and prepare and present recommendations to Controllers management.
  • Provide policy and project funding guidance as required.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as required.
  • Perform detailed analysis of postproject performance and present findings to management.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to relocate to Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
  • Hold a bachelors degree in business administration economics or engineering with a professional certification such as CPA ACCA or CFA being desirable. A graduate degree in business administration or related field is also desirable.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in various industries including financial analysis project evaluations project controls process/change management or strategy/management consulting.
  • Possess leadership skills and experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems which are highly desirable.
  • Show significant experience within one or more industries potentially allowing you to be considered a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish personal credibility with various internal clients and excellent interpersonal and engagement skills.
  • Be a team player capable of working across business lines to add value and achieve team objectives.
  • Have the ability to plan and coordinate your own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strategy corporate finance and accounting skills including the ability to evaluate industry and individual company information.
  • Be capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Possess demonstrated project management skills and the ability to offer logical and innovative solutions to complex client issues.
  • Be willing to travel as required.
