The purpose of this position is to carry out Global Marketing activities and strategies, as established by Marketing Manager and Senior management. Marketing Coordinator responsibilities will include but not be limited to: research, analysis, development and implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns, co-branding, ingredient branding, trade show coordination, etc. as outlined below.Essential Duties and Responsibilities--
-Conduct research, assemble and analyze data to prepare reports and documents.
-Develop and implement marketing and advertising campaigns (both B2B and B2C), prepares marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; plans and organizes promotional presentations; updates calendars.
-Manage promotional materials (catalogs) by coordinating requirements with related departments; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
-Monitor macro and micro market data as it relates to economic trends, retail trends, trade agreements, trade tariffs, import/export statistics.  Creates reports for submission to senior management.  Also creates regular macro/micro market analysis reports to be shared with Japan and Asia YKK offices.
-Supports the end user customer with focused marketing such as co-branding and ingredient branding activities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (cont.)-Manages the coordination of all trade shows attended by GMG USA.  This includes product choice, sample arrangement, staff attendance, schedules and associated logistics.  Attendance at shows is required.
-Oversees the day to day operations of the GMG training platform.  Assists in creation, implementation, advancement and improvement of GMG training platform.
-Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
-Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
-Leads GMG store audit projects.
-Performs other position-related duties as assigned.Supervision and Scope of Position
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications and RequirementsEducation/Experience: Marketing Research, Coordination, Project Management, Reporting Research Results, Understanding the Customer, Process Improvement, Initiative, Planning, Financial SkillsBachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in related field; or 1 to 5 years of related experience in related field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Expert and advance knowledge of MS Office applications (must include proficient level of Excel experience).Certificates and Licenses:
