Under CEO and Co-Founder Jennifer Hyman’s leadership, RTR has been named to CNBC’s “Disruptor 50” five times in ten years, and has been placed on Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list multiple times, while Hyman herself has been named to the “TIME 100” most influential people in the world and as one of People magazine’s “Women Changing the World.” About the Role: The HSES Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees by implementing and maintaining health and safety standards. This role involves, but is not limited to, conducting safety inspections, monitoring compliance with OSHA & local regulations, upholding security expectations for the facility and promoting a culture of safety within the workplace. What You’ll Do: • Safety Inspections and Audits:

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the facility to identify potential hazards.
• Document findings and follow up on corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to OSHA and other relevant health and safety regulations.
• Maintain and update safety policies and procedures to comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Training and Education:

• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
• Conduct new hire orientation sessions focusing on health and safety practices.

• Incident Investigation:

• Respond to and investigate accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

• Emergency Preparedness:

• Assist in developing and maintaining emergency response plans.
• Coordinate emergency drills and ensure all employees are trained on emergency procedures.

• Health and Safety Programs:

• Participate in the development and implementation of health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Promote a culture of safety through regular communication, training, and engagement activities.

• Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare reports and metrics to track safety performance and identify areas for improvement.

About You:

• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct effective training sessions and presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred

Working Conditions:

• Primarily based in our Secaucus, New Jersey Fulfulment Center.
• May require working irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to address safety concerns or incidents.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
