Import Specialist

Logistics company seeks an experienced Import Specialist with Ocean & Air experience. Responsibilities: -Facilitate the efficient processing of import documentation and clients' Purchase Orders for customs clearance.
-Liaise effectively with origin teams, shipping lines, airlines, and clients, ensuring seamless communication of shipping details, pricing, tracking information, and updates on any potential delays.
-Validate all details on purchase orders with suppliers and clients to ensure accuracy in shipping schedules, quantities, and reasons for any potential delays.
-Collaborate closely with the Customs Broker Division to ensure timely entry and issuance of Delivery Orders.
-Conduct diligent follow-ups on cargo destinations to ensure smooth releases and expedited delivery, minimizing any potential delays.
-Maintain accurate milestone updates in the system to facilitate timely file closure and invoicing processes.
-Stay updated on import regulations related to Ocean and Air Transportation and ensure compliance in all operations. AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
