Inventory Control Clerk

The Inventory Control Clerk plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Shift: 24hr shift (Day & Night)
Duration: Temp to Hire (90 Days) What Does a Typical Day as an Inventory Control Clerk Look Like? You'll Be
• Regularly monitor and update inventory levels.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to verify system accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
• Maintain and update inventory management systems.
• Resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of products.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
• Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and discrepancies.
• Utilize barcode scanning and other inventory management technologies.
• Stay updated on advancements in inventory control systems.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address inventory-related issues. You Might Be an Exceptional Fit for This Role if You:
• Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must have between 6 months to 1 year of Warehouse/Logistics experience.
• Proven experience in inventory control/cycle count.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
