Job Description: The Junior Account Executive supports Helen Kaminski’s America’s expansion through Wholesale Sales, increasing profitability and brand reach. Maintain an elevated level of service to our customers with timely delivery of products and regular account liaison that delivers to drive our customers sell thru of Helen Kaminski products. Work with the Director of Sales- Americas and North America sales team to achieve our sales plan while working closely with Global Customer Service Manager to achieve our company targets.

The Person : The ideal person for this role will have a wholesale or retail background. You will be a collaborative and trusted team player. You will have the ability to provide consistently excellent service to our customers and manage your targets. You are eager to learn, have a positive attitude and self-motivated.

The Helen Kaminski America’s team is small but very cross-functional, collaborative team. This will be an exciting and demanding hands-on role. You will work closely with the sales, warehouse, and customer service.

Day to Day Function:

  • Support Director of Sales in achievement of annual invoiced sales performances.
  • Facilitate and support entire order process from order creation to invoicing.
  • Point of contact for outside sales reps for any internal office needs.
  • Order fulfilment for wholesale orders.
  • Work cross functionally with customer service, marketing, merchandising, logistics, and Helen Kaminski AUS.
  • Identify account opportunities: suggest reorders, edits.
  • Communicate in a timely and clear manner to customers’ inquiries via email and/or phone.
  • Responsible for creating/maintaining all department logs- Shipping, Cancellations, Chargebacks, etc.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Daily Support on all aspects of Major Accounts
  • Provide copy/content product information to major department stores
  • Align our brand standards by supporting accounts with images of product or sending samples
  • Ensure strong merchandise assortment and provide all collection updates.
  • Responsible for select Specialty Stores.
  • Advise accounts base of merchandise ready and any production issues.
  • Monitor accounts selling, tracking weekly selling, monthly door selling, seasonal margins/turn.
  • Analyze business trends and product opportunities for overall business
  • Assist customer service with order entry for current selling season
  • Ensure orders are booked complete, managing all sell outs and substitutions
  • EDI related issues
  • Release orders for delivery
  • Order management in Blue Cherry (update cancelations, changes, and cleaning orders end of each season)
  • Track incoming product shipments from Sri Lanka with support of Logistics/Sourcing department
  • Assist with scheduling appointments with accounts
  • Conduct Product Knowledge meetings for Select Major doors and Specialty Stores (domestic travel)
  • Organize all online and advertising samples/images for major accounts
  • Submit PR requests to customer service
  • Create internal reports, to assist in tracking in season purchase orders and timely shipments
  • Manage content on Nu order platform-landing page, line sheet information, and ATS “hot lists”
  • Nu Order seasonal upload, monitor for errors/delivery changes/cancelations.
  • New account set up in Nu Order
  • Ensure all orders received through Nu Order are entered on time
  • Act as liaison with Credit department to address all credit-related customer issues and chargebacks.
  • Actively participate in customer meetings assisting in the presentation of collections.
  • Review department store.com business to monitor MAP pricing, proper image usage and brand standards.
  • Manage seasonal sample shipment to sales team
  • Oversee trade show prep and travel to shows to assist with set up/take down and account appointments
  • Research new account opportunities and share with Director of Sales
  • Support Sales Director with additional tasks to drive sales and provide best in class customer service

 

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Associate Degree
  • 1+ years of related work experience wholesale/retail experience preferred in accessories or apparel
  • Understanding of department store business, analyze business using retail math. (Sell through, on hand, inventory, and margin)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Customer Focus
  • Team-player mentality, positive attitude; willingness to learn and go above and beyond
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; with advanced knowledge in Excel and Power Point
  • Working knowledge of Nu Order
  • Able to travel/participate at tradeshows
  • Ability to travel for in store visits/seminars
  • Experience with Blue Cherry preferred
  • Live in Greater New York City/PA area
