Legal Assistant

LHH is recruiting a Legal Assistant for the Cleveland office of a regional law firm. The legal assistant will assist attorneys with criminal and civil matters in state and federal court. Responsibilities:
Managing and coordinating attorney schedules and court deadlines.
Electronically file pleadings and motions in state and federal courts.
Transcribe dictation of correspondence, memoranda, legal pleadings, and other documents.
Coordinate logistics for conferences and depositions, including attorney travel arrangements.
Opening and closing case files, including managing client intake information.
Enter attorney billable time through automated systems and ensure accuracy.
Preparing monthly client invoices.
Maintain paper and electronic litigation files per team procedures.
Paralegal billable tasks including research, indexing, drafting pleadings, briefs, and memorandums.
