Sterling Medical is seeking Victim Advocates -LCSW/MSW to provide services in Germany at 2 U.S. Military Installations. If interested I'd love to hear back!

Victim Advocates -Working with children and families who have dealt with abuse.

Start Date - 2020 Flexible - Early/Mid

Hours: M-F Day Hours

Qualifications:

Victim Advocates shall have a minimum of two years experience providing comprehensive assistance and support to victims of domestic abuse, this support includes the provision of crisis intervention, assessing the situation for imminent danger and life threatening physical harm to the victim or another person, safety assessment and planning, assistance in securing medical treatment for injuries, information on legal rights and proceedings, and understanding and describing to victims a variety of advocacy and outreach services, including child protective services, military and civilian shelters and other resources available to the victims.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, marriage, family, and child counseling, counseling or behavioral science, education, community health or public health.

Preferred qualification (not required by regulation): victim advocacy certification
