Logistics Sales Specialist

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Logistics Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing sales and marketing plans, managing customer relationships, and providing customer service associated with logistics, transportation, and drayage operations. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, developing innovative solutions to address their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop sales and marketing plans that are tailored to meet customer needs and objectives
• Manage customer relationships, build trust, and promote customer loyalty
• Provide customer service related to logistics, transportation, and drayage operations
• Identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions
• Analyze customer needs and develop customized solutions to meet those needs
• Provide timely and accurate quotes, invoices, and other customer documentation
• Maintain accurate customer records and update customer information as needed
• Resolve customer disputes and complaints as necessary
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction
• Maintain relationships with third-party vendors to ensure optimal service

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, and drayage operations
• Knowledge of marketing, business development, and customer service
• Experience with heavy transport, logistic solutions, transportation solutions, and heavy haul
• Strong understanding of Logistics Sales principles and processes
• Ability to problem solve and develop creative solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of rollback and other freight transport methods
