Job Description - Logistics Scheduler

Logistics Scheduler

100% in the office

Contract (4-6 months)

Monday-Friday 8 AM- 5PM + 24/hr on call

$30+/hr

Main Job Duties:

• Receive nominations and create receipt/delivery schedules.

• Adjust schedules/flowrates as needed to maintain proper movements, optimize asset utilization, and increase revenue.

• Maintain communication and exchange data with customers to track, balance, account, and report product volumes movements.

• Proactively and effectively communicate with Control Center, Operations, Commercial, and other company personnel as necessary to maintain schedule and manage issues.

• Network and build relationships with external customers as required.

• Address customer issues that arise beyond normal working hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be available after hours and/or weekends via phone.

• Monitor and effectively communicate pipeline maintenance & operation needs. Maintain pipeline utilization and reliability metrics.

• Review daily tickets & gain/loss data. Identify issues and work with the appropriate groups to resolve.

• Develop and distribute daily reports to Operations and Commercial departments.

• Perform various analysis and produce summary reports.

• Develop, implement, and oversee the scheduling systems, processes, and procedures.

• Review, reconcile, and book movements through monthly reports for Accounting and other departments.

• Participate in special projects and initiatives as requested.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.

• Logistics/Scheduling experience preferred; knowledge of measurement systems desired.

• Strong analytical and math skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office required.

• Understanding of SCADA systems is preferred.
