Job Description - Office Manager (Hybrid Schedule)

Pay : $70-$75k

Hours : 8am-5pm, M-F (4 days in office, 1 day WFH)

Location : Berkeley, CA 94710

Hire Type : Temp to hire, potential direct hire

Responsibilities

  • Handling basic HR duties: onboarding/offboarding, acting as a liaison between HR Consultant and management team, assist with policy updates, being the main point of contact for Professional Employer Organization (PEO), field HR inquiries for internal business units to the appropriate party for resolution

  • Handling all day-to-day office operations: logistics coordinator duties, coordinating with bookkeeper, interacting with local bank branches for account needs, being the liaison between IT vendor and employees, handle Accounts Payable transactions, keeping leadership informed on major milestones and needs

  • Administrative Tasks: creating PowerPoint slides, creating Excel files, summarize retailer meetings/account recaps, market analysis of seasonal products, understand profit margin, coordinate domestic and international travel, working with cross-functional teams to support US staff, note taking/distribution from customer meetings

  • Supervise onsite Sales Assistant, Admin Assistant in San Diego, and an onsite temporary administrative staff if needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree

  • 1+ years of Office Manager experience

  • HR/business operations knowledge

  • MS Office Suite proficiency

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks

  • Comfort working with numbers for reporting

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Passion for working with consumer products, especially seasonal holiday products
