Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Logistic Project Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Analyze, define, and document life cycle support requirements for systems and equipment based on customer maintenance concepts/philosophies
• Conduct tradeoff studies and analyses such as life cycle cost, Level of Repair, and Maintenance-related to make recommendations and generate data to support the development of Logistic Support Subsystems for Military systems and equipment.
• Provide program information, analysis, and recommendations to leadership for program action and decisions
• Develop battle rhythm of activities; calendar management; coordinate and facilitate recurring staff meetings
• Prepare, review, staff, transmit, and electronically store on government-owned systems, agendas, briefings, papers, tasks, minutes, calendars, action items, and other program-related documents
• Prepare required presentation materials for on-site and off-site events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Logistics, Quality, Production, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the last 10 years coordinating and collaborating the management of complex DoD engineering or technical programs, and coordinating military acquisition programs (preferably ground combat vehicle systems experience)
• Background and knowledge of planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking, and reporting on complex programs
• Acceptable experience is that which reflects a substantial role in all the required areas (planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking, and reporting)
• Experience interfacing and coordinating with higher-level staff

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ground combat vehicle systems
