Job Description - Bilingual Field Operations Manager
Join a dynamic team dedicated to supporting the needs of unaccompanied children in our community. As a Field Operations Manager (FOM), you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating logistical and on-the-ground support for our Home Study and Post Release Services (HS/PRS) staff across New Jersey and New York. This role involves direct supervision and oversight to ensure our team meets Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) requirements, providing essential services with compassion and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Coordination: Lead deployment efforts within your designated region, ensuring our team of Deployment Coordinators, Community Service Managers, and other support personnel are equipped to deliver exceptional care. Logistics Management: Coordinate travel and lodging logistics for our dedicated staff, facilitating seamless operations that meet strict timelines and operational standards. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with ORR regulations and guidelines, overseeing timely documentation and reporting to stakeholders as required. Team Support and Development: Foster a supportive team environment by hiring, training, and supervising our dedicated staff members. Encourage professional growth and maintain high standards of service delivery. Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local community organizations to enhance our service delivery and support networks for immigrant populations. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or related fields preferred, or equivalent experience demonstrating leadership in a similar capacity. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably within social services or child welfare settings. Experience with immigrant populations and knowledge of local social services resources is highly valued. Skills: Proficiency in Spanish preferred; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
