Job Description - Vice President, Sales

Vice President, Sales Overview We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Sales Executive to lead our Sales and Business Development team. This role is pivotal in driving our company's growth through strategic sales leadership and coordination. If you have a robust network within the logistics and final mile ecosystem and a proven track record of sales excellence, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of Account Executives (AEs) and Business Development Executives (BDEs), fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.
Sales Quota Management: Manage both personal and team sales quotas to drive revenue growth.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans and budgets. Collaborate with the Marketing team to maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with corporate goals.
Customer-Centric Approach: Utilize a solutions-based, value engineering approach to guide customers through their buying journey.
Pipeline Development: Actively build and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent growth through both personal efforts and team activities.
Commercial Effectiveness: Leverage strategic data and analytical skills to create frameworks that enhance customer acquisition and retention.
Team Leadership: Mentor the Sales & Business Development team to achieve specific goals, managing budgets, and partnering with external stakeholders to meet company objectives.
Innovation and Growth: Seek out new business opportunities by introducing new modules, applications, services, and partner solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technology, product management, customer success, and senior management teams to develop long-term strategies that expand commercial potential. Qualifications & Experience MBA or equivalent career experience within the Logistics/SaaS sector.
8+ years of senior sales leadership with demonstrable success.
5+ years of SaaS enterprise sales experience, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and entering new markets.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent strategic and commercial strategy capabilities.
In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
Experience collaborating across multiple departments and teams. Attributes Impactful leader with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Strong professional work ethic and confident communicator.
Ability to travel regularly within North America and internationally.
