Job Description - Sales Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager, a leading food manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing strategic plans to expand our market presence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a sales team and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Account Management: Manage and grow key accounts by building strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets. Provide ongoing training and development.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts and budgets. Monitor and report on sales performance against targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio and effectively communicate product benefits to customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, production, and logistics, to ensure alignment and support sales initiatives.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and network with potential clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
