About the Role: As a Senior Acquisition Logistics SME, you'll be an integral part of our team, providing essential support to both government and industry partners. You'll have the chance to showcase your expertise in operational, program management, and acquisition fields, serving as a trusted advisor and contributing to various projects. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and analytical support to logistics initiatives, driving impactful outcomes. Assist in reviewing and updating DoD product support policies, ensuring alignment with evolving needs. Contribute insights to high-level strategic planning, driving process improvements and compliance. Facilitate customer meetings and workshops, offering valuable subject matter expertise and guidance. Support proposal development efforts, leveraging your expertise to enhance project success. Offer expertise in readiness requirements and reporting procedures, ensuring effective planning and execution. Qualifications: Required: Hold an active Secret clearance, demonstrating eligibility to work on sensitive projects. Possess a Bachelor's degree, providing a strong foundation for success in this role. Have a minimum of ten years of related acquisition logistics experience, with at least two years in a leadership position. Exhibit functional expertise in life cycle logistics, with a solid understanding of weapon system sustainment planning, product support management, and depot maintenance. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, delivering high-quality results. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas and insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed. Preferred: Possess a technical or business-related Master's Degree, providing additional depth to your expertise. Clear understanding of DoD acquisition and sustainment organizations, enhancing your ability to navigate complex projects. Familiarity with DoD's Integrated Product Support Element structure and definitions. Hold DOD Acquisition Certification (DAWIA) Level III for Life Cycle Logistics, showcasing your commitment to professional development. Experience with Microsoft Access, Project, and Visio, offering additional tools for project management and analysis.
