DESCRIPTION
The Amazon Inbound Shipper Support - Global Mile team is growing rapidly and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who ship with Amazon Inbound Transportation. As Amazon continues to drive innovation within transportation and logistics space. We are consistently evaluating our current network shipper defects and drive improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role, the candidate will work directly with shippers to create solutions, and act to improve shipper performance metrics. Communications will be through calls and case work management. We focus on learning, innovating, and are customer-focused, with a direct line of engagement with our vendors. We are looking for candidates with a strong passion for ownership and accountability, to manage shipper performance and best practice adoption and control implementation across a range of stakeholders, teams, partners and services. As regular and ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and assist them in remaining in compliance with Amazon standards, the ideal Account Specialist will be able to communicate at a high level. We are building and innovating at a fast pace in Amazon Inbound Transportation, and we need people who are passionate about reinventing the transportation shipper experience. Key job responsibilities - Monitor, verify, and present data daily - Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time. - Identify transportation defect root causes. - Conduct daily calls with shippers and carriers - Maintaining case work expectations (goals, metrics, standards) A day in the life Amazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school or equivalent diploma - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required - 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Are 18 years of age or older
